Managed Service Visits

We have completed a Covid-19 Risk Assessment to enable us to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our team whilst continuing to deliver services to our clients.

Jartech will seek to complete technical tasks remotely where possible but will also attend site for scheduled visits and where faults cannot be resolved remotely. Where staff are required to attend site, the following guidance has been issued:

  • Jartech staff are to travel to and from site alone by car (or bicycle if distances are short), avoiding public transport where possible.

  • Jartech staff are to wash their hands or sanitise their hands upon arrival and before departure from each client site.

  • Jartech staff must practice social distancing whilst on client sites, maintaining a distance of at least 1m from client staff and members of the public at all times and 2m where possible.

  • Where required to work in a small or enclosed space (e.g. a server room), clients are asked to give the space over for the exclusive use of our Staff while the work takes place.

  • All client sign offs are to be done electronically and remotely via email rather than via the staff member’s mobile device.

  • Jartech staff are expected to follow any reasonable additional safety measures requested by clients whilst on site, provided they do not compromise the above guidance. This includes the wearing of face coverings.

  • The provision of PPE required by the client’s policies (other than face coverings) will be the responsibility of the client to provide. Our policy is that good hand sanitisation is a better form of protection than disposable gloves and is less impactful on the environment.

  • The sanitising of client-owned equipment in accordance with each client’s policy remains the responsibility of the client.

  • To comply with the government’s Test and Trace system, a record of the time and date of each Staff member’s Client site visits is held on our system. Jartech will notify Clients where a visit has taken place should a member of staff receive confirmation of a positive test result. We respectfully request that clients inform our operations team (admin@jartechconsultants.co.uk, 0208 1753 990) as quickly as possible if a positive case is confirmed for a member of staff or a pupil with whom our staff member has been in close contact (less than 2m distance for 15 minutes) so that they can isolate. Wherever possible our staff will be asked to avoid this close contact.
